A great product !
I have been using the “COG-SHH-3DOF Motion System” for over a week now and I can already tell you, from first impressions, that I am extremely satisfied with it.
First of all, the delivery time was really fast, exactly 8 days between ordering and receipt of the two packages. Then the installation of the cylinders and the wiring with the “control box” was done very easily. I'm not very handy but I managed to do the installation, alone, in about three hours; so it's really “plug and play”.
Regarding the software installation, no worries, you must follow the instructions to the letter, everything is clearly explained. Only the VR part with the installation and configuration of “motion compensation” was a little more delicate but ultimately everything works perfectly in Open XR (still things to adjust in Open VR...).
Regarding the performance of the COG-SHH-3DOF Motion System we see that it is industrial quality, solid, responsive and able to lift heavy loads without difficulty (that was one of my fears...). The only downside is that the system is a little noisy in operation, which personally doesn't bother me too much since I live in a house and the neighbors are far away...
The SimRacing Studio software delivered with the product is quite easy to use once you take the time to understand how it works. At the beginning I found the COG-SHH-3DOF Motion System very violent but since then I have managed to find softer and therefore more realistic and immersive settings corresponding to my expectations in the main games that I play, Iracing, ACC, AMS2, RF2 and LMU.
Riding with the COG-SHH-3DOF Motion System completely transforms my simracing experience and the immersion is truly incredible, especially in VR.
Given the capabilities of the COG-SHH-3DOF Motion System, I am going to resume the flight simulation that I left aside a few years ago...
I have been looking for a year for a movement system that meets my criteria (solidity, sufficiently long stroke of the cylinders, ease of installation, delivery time, power of the cylinders, etc.) all to an affordable price. After having studied almost all the products currently available on the market, I finally discovered your offer when I was going to place an order with one of your competitors!
Thank you again for offering such a product which in my opinion deserves the widest distribution.
